The Palpa-Butwal road section has been reopened which was previously blocked due to landslide. The road to Siddhartha Highway was blocked. Due to incessant rains, a landslide had blocked the road from Dobhan of Palpa section to Siddhababa temple area.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the road was opened some time ago after the landslide was cleared from the area. Passengers had to suffer when the road was closed in the morning due to the landslide. With the opening of the road, vehicles stuck on the highway are now heading towards their destination.
