Three held for swindling foreign job aspirants out of Rs 7.5 lakh

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police have recently arrested three persons for swindling different persons out of Rs 749,500 on the pretext of sending them to the USA.

Police identified the arrestees as Binod Bhusal (24) of Kapilvastu district, Pukar Gurung (31) and Prakash Gurung (30) of Kaski district.

According to the CIB spokesperson Superintendent of Police (SP) Shyam Kumar Mahato, the victims were contacted through Bhusal by Divya Rana, currently living in the USA. According to Police, Bhusal had managed the process to send them to the USA for working in the agriculture farm belonging to Rana. However, Bhusal was found to have forged the documents of the US embassy.
