The District Police Office has arrested two persons with brown heroin (brown sugar). Police have seized both the drivers after finding gray heroin in the two trucks.
According to Arjun Kumar Adhikari, Information Officer at the District Police Office, they were arrested while they were transporting brown sugar in a truck (Ko 1 Kha 6232 and Na 6 Kha 7478) at Dumsika near the district headquarters.
About two grams and one milligram of brown sugar and Rs 83,600 in cash were recovered from them, police said. The arrested are Suman Tamang, 29, of Kerabari in Dhankuta Municipality and Dal Bahadur Magar, 37, of Dharmadevi Municipality-5. Both the trucks were on their way to Dharan from Bhojpur.
