To officially begin his tenure as the U.S. Ambassador to Nepal, Ambassador Dean R. Thompson made courtesy calls to the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba and the Honorable Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka. During the meetings, the Ambassador discussed our 75-year-long diplomatic relationship and ways to further collaborate on issues important to the United States, Nepal, and the global community.
