Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah (Balen) has met CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Mayor Shah reached Dahal's residence on Saturday morning. During the meeting, he congratulated the newly-elected mayor and suggested him to work with the country and the people at the center.
During the meeting, they praised each other. Mayor Shah said he expected support from the coalition, according to Dahal's secretariat.
After being elected mayor, Balen has already met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
