Nepali Congress leader Pradip Poudel has said the music and songs based on Nepali originality need to be transferred to new generation. Leader Poudel said it during a programme organized to mark the 32nd memorial day of Swarsamrat Narayan Gopal here Monday.
He expressed worry over fading music bearing Nepali originality. According to him, it is the responsibility of State to create atmosphere favorable to protect the music and songs that reflect Nepali culture and image. The singer and musicians also deserve honour by the State, Poudel underscored.
On the occasion, people contributing to Nepali songs and music were honoured.
