In the meeting held today at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, various options were discussed regarding the selection of the presidential candidate, but no conclusion was reached. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa informed that the final conclusion will be given at a re-meeting at 5 pm.
Leaders including CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav and others participated in the meeting.
