Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that problems will be resolved soon through a dialogue with Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal.
Prime Minister Oli made this statement on Sunday while laying the foundation stone for a China-Nepal friendship industrial park at Kamal Rural Municipality-7 in Jhapa district, which is said to be the biggest industrial zone of the country.
Stating that Nepal has been recommended for upgrading to a developing country from underdeveloped one, he said that his priority is to make the country self-dependent. He also announced an increment in the allowance to elderly people.
PM Oli welcomed the restoration of the House of Representatives (HoR) and challenged to endorse a no-confidence motion against him. Prime Minister would lead the next two-thirds majority government after winning the next elections with the blessing of the people, he claimed.
The Prime Minister also thanked the Government of China and the people for financial assistance and cooperation for the construction of the park.
Similarly, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Basanta Nembang, shared that five bridges were built across the country in a day, adding that now no one would face the problem of lack of bridges.
Likewise, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekh Raj Bhatta viewed that the country has entered an industrial era by establishing industrial parks across the country.
On a different note, Minister Bhatta, also the leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Oli led faction offered the possibility of party unification once Dahal-Nepal faction self-evaluates itself and returns to the party. It may be noted that a group of the NCP (later formed to be the Dahal-Nepal group) has broken away with the NCP following the HoR dissolution by PM Oli.
The Government of China is said to be investing Rs 65 billion in the project located at the border of Kamal Rural Municipality-7, Gauradaha Municipality-5 and Damak Municipality-10 spanning 2,100 bigahas of lands.
