The Central Committee meeting of CPN UML is underway at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.
CPN UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel has presented the agenda for the meeting.
Today's meeting has been holding a discussion on deciding the date for the party's general convention and to convene a legislative conference to amend the party statute, according to CPN UML Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai.
Previously, the CPN UML CC meeting held on Friday issued an ultimatum of two days to senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal to withdraw signatures put by the leaders of his faction to make Nepali Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba a prime minister.
