Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also chairperson of CPN UML, and party's senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal held a conversation over the phone today.
The conversation was held after the party's leader Ghanashyam Bhusal reached Nepal Niwas, Koteshwor to deliver the draft of the agreement letter.
It has been learnt that the conversation between Oli and Nepal focused on the party's political and unity issues.
Meanwhile, the party's leaders from both factions — one led by Oli and another led by Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal — have been making preparations to hold a meeting to save the party unity.
Although the leaders from both factions tried to bring together Oli and Nepal for a meeting, the two leaders could not concur for the same.
