A meeting between Nepali Congress leader and UML leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, spokesperson of the government and Minister for Communications and Information Technology at the residence of Chairman of the Main Opposition Party CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli in Balkot today ended without any conclusion.

The team withdrew from Balkot after the leaders failed to reach a conclusion after the UML failed to reach an agreement and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) was tabled in the parliament. It is said that a meeting between Prime Minister Deuba and UML Chairman Oli is scheduled to be held in Balkot if there is a consensus between the two sides.

Leaving Oli's residence in Balkot, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Karki said that he could not give a new message from today's discussion. "We tried to give you a new message from today's discussion, but we couldn't. However, our discussion will continue," he said. "The alliance is still going on.

After the discussion, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said that the UML could not give its decision as the opinion of the alliance was not yet clear. He said, "Even in today's discussion, we have asked them to come up with the same opinion of the alliance. They have not been able to form an opinion of the alliance. They will continue discussions in the alliance. To do? ”

In today's discussion, talks were held between Congress spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Karki, Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Thapa and UML Senior Vice President Ishwor Pokharel, Vice President Bishnu Poudel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal. In Bolkot, discussions were held between the leaders of the Nepali Congress, including Prime Minister Deuba, and the leaders of the UML, including Chairman Oli.
