Karate team departs Bhutan

The team of Nepal So-Kyokushin Karate has left today to participate in the fifth South Asian Kickboxing Championship to be held in Bhutan.

Tanglal Ghising, member secretary of the National Sports Council, bid farewell to the team today, wishing them success. There are nine people in the team going to Bhutan including three officials and six players. Jagat Bahadur Dhami, Kasis Kumari Chhetri, Siwani Shrestha, Kavin Deshar, Bhuvan Hayu, Jairam Blon, Mukesh Luintel Khatri and Dal Bahadur Ghale are in the team led by Rajkumar Shrestha, president of the association.

President Shrestha informed that the championship to be held on August 20th and 21st in Phuensolig, Bhutan will be jointly organized by Ninja Sports Federation and International Sports Games Federation.
