In the Summer Olympics to be held in Paris, the capital of France, from July 26 to August 11, 7 athletes have participated in 6 games on behalf of Nepal.
As in the past, the Nepali team has more officials than players. Officially, no information has been given as to which sports Nepali athletes have a chance of winning a medal. Nepal has been participating in the Olympics since 1964. But till now Nepal has not got any medal.
Taekwondo player Bidhan Lama won a bronze medal at the Summer Olympics held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea in 1988. But at that time Taekwondo was included as a demonstration sport, so the medal was not officially recognized.
