Paragliding in Nepal has been suspended indefinitely. After the death of participating athletes during the 9th National Games in Pokhara.
According to the instructions of the National Sports Council, paragliding has been suspended for an indefinite period, according to the Nepal Paragliding and Hand Gliding Association.
Niseem Thapa of Tribhuvan Army Club died when the paragliding of Blue Sky Company fell from the sky to the ground in Sarangkot during the cross country paragliding match under the 9th National Sports Competition.
