A chartered flight of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will be bringing COVID-19 vaccines from China today. An NAC aircraft had departed for Beijing on Monday to bring anti-coronavirus vaccines that are being provided by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The flight is expected to bring eight lakh doses of the vaccine. It is expected to arrive in Kathmandu at 2:30 pm today.
During a telephone conversation with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on May 26, Chinese President Jinping had pledged to provide one million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines under grant assistance.
