Nepali sisters set record by climbing Mt. Elbrus

Three Nepalese sisters have set a record by successfully climbing Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe. They managed to reach the peak of Elbrus in Russia at 3:15 pm on Saturday.

Imagine Nepal Treks informed that Nima Jangbu Sherpa, Chhiring Namge Sherpa, and Dawa Phuti Sherpa from the same house, residents of Gourishankar rural municipality ward number 9 of Dolakha, have successfully climbed Elbrus.


The trio has also climbed the highest peak, Mount Everest. They are planning to set a world record by climbing the highest peaks of the seven continents of the world.


The Sherpa sisters are now aiming to climb Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters) and Argentina's highest mountain Aconcagua (6,961 meters).
