The Election Commission has called upon the national media to assist in creating a suitable environment for the upcoming election

55 percent of voting has taken place in the local level elections till 4 pm today.

The Election Commission has also requested the private sector to give a holiday on the election day.

The election code of conduct has been in force since April 8.
