The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has decided to continue its investigation into the case involving the smuggling

Nepal Police has said there was no involvement of the Inspector General of Police in the fake Bhutanese refugees scam.

The Council of Ministers is meeting today to decide on the appointment of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Insignia has been conferred to five Additional Inspectors General of the Nepal Police.

The provincial police hospital has been established at Belbari Municipality-3 in Morang district in Province 1. Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh inaugurated the 15-bed hospital amid a function here.

Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh has said the police personnel should be in a ready position at any time for maintaining the law and order.

The government appointed Singh as IGP on May 1, 2022.

The respective insignia has been conferred on newly-promoted Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Sahakul Thapa.
