Thousands of Russian tourists are stranded in Thailand’s beach resorts because of the war in Ukraine, many are unable to pay their bills or return home because of sanctions and cancelled flights.

Scores of passengers, including students, leaving Humla district for their destinations have been stranded as they have been struggling to book air tickets.

The Jayaprithvi Highway remains obstructed for the past four days after the road subsided at Jhaulek of Patan Municipality-8 in Baitadi district.

Jayprithvi Highway has been obstructed with landslide since last night. The landslide occurred at Dholyamod of Purchaudi Municipality-6 blocked the road.
