All programmes announced in budget will be implemented: FinMin

Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, who is also the deputy prime minister, has said that all the programmes that have been included in the budget for the next fiscal year will be effectively implemented. He has requested all concerned not to have any doubts on whether or not the budget will be properly implemented.

Minister Poudel also informed that all the programmes that have been included in the budget will be implemented immediately after the start of the next fiscal year. He added that the working guidelines that are necessary to implement the programmes will be finalised by the end of the current fiscal.

The finance minister further stated that all the ministries are also ready to start implementing the programmes mentioned in the budget as soon as the next fiscal year starts. Even the Finance Ministry has started work on implementing the budget immediately from the beginning of the next fiscal year, he added.

Minister Poudel also mentioned that infrastructure construction of all community schools and colleges under the President Educational Reform Programme will be completed within three years. He added that infrastructure construction of 1,500 community schools and colleges will be started from next fiscal year.

Minister Poudel was speaking while responding to the letter put forward by the All Nepal National Free Students Union drawing the government’s attention on whether the programmes mentioned in the budget would be effectively implemented.
