Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has met with Agni Pandey, whose son Nirakar died last Thursday night in a fire at the Grand Diamond City Casino in Cambodia.
The Prime Minister called and met Agni at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers this morning. In the meeting with the Prime Minister, Agni said that he was shocked by the unexpected death of his son and expressed his gratitude for the concern and responsibility shown by the government.
Prime Minister Dahal expressed grief over the death of the deceased and expressed his condolences to the family. Prime Minister Dahal's Press Coordinator Suryakiran Sharma informed that the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to bring the body home and to support the family on behalf of the government and asked them to be patient.
Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Paudel, Narayankaji Shrestha, Ravi Lamichhane, and Chief Secretary Shankardas Vairagi were present on the occasion. Prime Minister Dahal has already instructed the Chief Secretary to proceed with the process of bringing the body home.
