The Academy of Motion Picture and Sciences has opened applications for the 95th Oscar Awards.
The international feature film selection committee of Oscar in Nepal has issued a notice and requested to submit the film within 30th of August. Only the films that ran for one week in theaters from January 1 to November 30, 2022 will be eligible to apply.
Last year, no film from Nepal was recommended because the film could not be released in theaters due to the Corona epidemic. However, it is estimated that at least 6 more films will participate in the recommendation competition this time.
The Oscar award ceremony will be held on March 12 in Los Angeles, USA.
