Glimpses of Police dogs being worshipped

Kukur Tihar (A day of worshiping dogs) is celebrated across the nation today. As dogs are regarded as the guard of Yamaraj (the god of death), people worship dogs on the occasion offering them with flower garlands, tika and food.

All of the dogs from house pets to stray are worshipped on the day, Nepal police also did the same to their trained dogs. They also have a show where various games and skills are shown by the police dogs. Here are some glimpses of Nepal police celebrating dog Tihar.
