An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 36 km ENE of San Fernando, Peru at 1111 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 149.2 km, was initially determined to be at 8.23 degrees south latitude and 74.25 degrees west longitude.
