During the meeting held at the Parliament Building, New Delhi, Minister Bhandari urged Minister Goyal to facilitate the 'Bureau of Indian Standards' imposed by the Indian government on the export of Nepali goods--cement, plywood and shoes.

Similarly, positive discussion was held for the amendment to the Treaty of Transit, said Under-Secretary at the Bilateral Trade and Transit Section of the Ministry, Tarka Raj Bhatta.

Likewise, an understanding has been reached to organize a Commerce Secretary-level meeting in Nepal soon to facilitate the trade and transit.

Stating that there are immense potentials for investment in Nepal, Minister Bhandari requested Minister Goyal to take initiatives in order to convince Indian investors to invest in Nepal as the country has built an investment-friendly environment.
