As many as 984 applications on loan sharking have been registered at the district administration office (DAO) of Parsa.
Chief of Loan Shark Victim Help Desk of DAO Parsa, Gaurishanker Saha informed at least 984 victims registered applications complaining that they were victimized by loan sharks.
He said that the victims registered applications for justice when a new decision was made to take legal action against loan sharks by making law through ordinance.
Submission of applications gained momentum on April 30 after the DAO called for applications from the victims on April 28, Chief Saha said.
