Phulmaya Sirmal, 35, of Laxmi Bazaar in Gorkha Municipality-9 has been found dead.
Her body was found in front of Naresh Shrestha's house at VIP Toll in Gorkha Municipality-6 on Wednesday morning.
"Blood was also seen at the spot," said District Police Chief SP Kedar Khanal.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the district hospital for postmortem and further investigation is underway, he said.
