The budget has been allocated for upgrading of Jajarkot-Jumla connecting road section. Rs. 500 million has been allocated for upgrading the road from Panchkatia to Vyauli Dhunga.
CDE Shubharaj Neupane of the Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Development informed that the road is being upgraded through a multi-year contract. The National Planning Commission has sent a letter to the Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Development to ensure the resources for connecting the road from Jajarkot to Jumla through a multi-year contract.
The Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Development has written to the Department of Roads to find a contract immediately. The road has been cut for four years. Chief of the Road Division Office, Chaurajahari, Dhruva Jha said that the work would be taken forward in a few days by inviting bids.
