The Election Commission has approved the election program for the upcoming local elections. Election Commission Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel informed that the election program from nomination registration to voting has been approved for the upcoming April 12 election.
According to the election program, it has been decided to register the nomination papers of the candidates from April 29 to April 30, publish the list of registered candidates on April 29 and lodge a complaint against the candidates on April 30. Spokesperson Poudel informed that a program has been approved to check the nomination papers on April 29 and 30 and to decide on the complaints after investigation.
There is a program for the candidates to withdraw their names on April 29 and publish the final list of candidates and give election symbols to the candidates on April 30. The Commission has stated that all the offices related to the election will be in the office of the Election Officer.
