Baitadi 84 year old dies minutes after voting

An octogenarian collapsed and died shortly after voting in municipal elections on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Harisingh Bhat (84), a resident of Kaphalda, Dogadakedar.

He passed out after casting his vote at the Sanatan Dharma Secondary School polling booth, Sudurpaschim, Baitadi district. He died while being transported to a medical institution for treatment, according to authorities.
