Booster dose for people vaccinated with J&J vaccine- MoHP

The Ministry of Health and Population has clarified that people who have been vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) can also get booster dose.

The ministry said in a statement that the booster dose could be given after receiving inquiries from the districts as to what to do with the first dose of J&J vaccine.

According to the ministry, people above 18 years old who have been vaccinated with J&J vaccine can get booster dose after 6 months.

The ministry has suggested to use J&J vaccine and if the vaccine it is not available, they can get Covishield, AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer as a booster dose after 6 months, the ministry said.
