Budget allocation as per spending capacity: Finance Minister Sharma

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said the government with the capacity to spend much would be allocated much budget. Addressing virtually the thematic meeting of the finance on Friday, Minister Sharma argued the government ensuring effective service delivery and huge spending would be provided huge budget.

The Finance Minister further viewed the local and provincial governments had worked significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The good practices in any layer of government can be replicated and behavior corrected for the effective implementation of federalism. He assured that the province governments' demands would be addressed gradually.

Moreover, the Minister pointed out the need for production and capital formation. He was also for removing the duplicity of projects and plans.
