Currently, there is a general influence of westerly winds in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of Far Western, Karnali and Gandaki Provinces due to effects of the weather system.
In the afternoon, the weather will be generally clear with partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki and light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the provinces. Even at night, the weather will be generally clear with partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province No. 1 and Gandaki Province.
Some warmth has been felt in Kathmandu Valley as the sun has been bright since morning. According to the latest details of the department, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu is 6.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 18.2 degrees Celsius.
