Eight houses were gutted in a fire that broke out in the Musahartole located in Haripur of Koshi Rural Municipality-7.
According to the police, the clothes, utensils, and food stock of the local residents were burnt to ashes in the fire that broke out on Monday. A total of 34 families living in eight houses were displaced following the incident, CPN (UML) Koshi village committee chairman Ram Khelan Shah said.
