A businessman was robbed five lakh rupees by stabbing him on the Samsi road section.
According to Police Inspector Ranjan Mishra of Gaushala Area Police Office, 35-year-old Arun Kumar Choudhary of Ramgopalpur Municipality-7 Sahasaula of the district was stabbed by an unknown group and robbed five lakh rupees from him.
Arun, who was conducting Baisnavi money transfer in his own village, was on his way home with money from the cowshed on Friday on a motorcycle, when a group of three people on a motorcycle robbed him of the money. The group stopped Arun's motorcycle and stabbed him in the thigh, injuring him and looting the money.
Police said that Arun, who was injured due to stabbing, is being treated at the polyclinic in Gaushala, while the search for the robbers is going on extensively.
