Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane on Saturday said his party was waiting for the arrest of the main gold owner(s) in the recent gold smuggling case.
Although gold porters in the case have been arrested, the main gold owner(s) has yet to be nabbed, he said while speaking at the formation of the party town committee and the declaration meeting in Bhaktapur. Expressing his concern about his party being accused of moving behind any party, he said there is no need for his party to go after any party as it garnered a large number of votes of the people.
Warning that no one should dare finish off the RSP, he said the efforts would fail as it has many capable and strong leaders.
Stating that there is a wave among people to join the RSP, he urged people not to enter the party with personal interests.
Saying the party would take action against any persons within the party found doing wrong, he also urged caution in this regard.
