CPN (Maoist Center) has emerged victorious in Naumule village municipality of the district. Chhabi Ram Subedi of the UCPN (Maoist) has won the post of village chairman. He was elected chairman with 3,200 votes.
His nearest rival Bhade Budha Magar of the Nepali Congress polled 2,544 votes. Budhamagar is also the outgoing chairman. CPN-UML's Shashi Ram Bishwakarma got 1,920 votes.
Similarly, Ganga Bahadur Shahi of the CPN (Unified Socialist) won the post of deputy chief. He received 2,834 votes. Amrita Singh of Nepali Congress got 2,405 votes and Geeta Chand of UML got 1,918 votes. There was an electoral alliance between Naumule (CPN-Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist). Naumule, which has eight wards, among which five wards is won by the Nepali Congress, two wards by the Unified Socialists and one ward by the CPN-UML.
