Newly appointed Minister for Communications and Technology, Nain Kala Thapa, has been appointed as the spokesperson of the government. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday had taken a decision to appoint her as the spokesperson.
The tradition in Nepal is to appoint the minister in charge of communication as the government spokesperson. And all the government decisions are also made public through the communications minister.
