Discussion on the budget headings of three ministries including the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology under the Appropriation Bill, 2080 has ended at the House of Representatives today.
On the occasion, parliamentarians expressed their views on the appropriation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation as well.
The parliamentarians called to maintain the image of Nepal in the world, increase investment in energy sector and complete big projects on time and make the press and electronic media effective. They also asked for a balanced allocation of the budget among the ministries.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the lower house that the budget headings of the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Water Supply, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security will be discussed in the upcoming meetings.
The House of Representatives will meet next at 11:00 am tomorrow.
