The Nagdhunga-Naubise road section, which was blocked due to landslides after incessant rains, has come into operation. The Nagdhunga-Naubise road section, which was blocked at 5.30 this morning due to a landslide near Chisapani, Dharan on Tribhuvan Highway, has been operational for some time now.
Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Khan informed that the road was brought into operation after six hours.
After the landslide in Chandragiri Municipality-2, Chisapani, vehicles entering and leaving the capital through Nagdhunga have been queuing. Due to the landslide, there was hug traffic jam in Thankot towards Kathmandu and in Khanikhola towards Dhading. The highway has been repeatedly blocked due to landslides while widening the highway near Sisnekhola where the tunnel is being constructed.
