Nepal Telecom has introduced 4G LTE Namaste WiFi package targeting places where there is no fiber internet access. The company said, "It launched the service to expand high-speed data and voice services. You must use a separate device to use this service. "The company also signed an agreement with Cybernetics Practice on Wednesday to provide such devices.
Telecom has now provided two types of Namaste WiFi packages for individuals and government agencies. 60 GB of data can be used monthly for a minimum of Rs. 800 under the individual package. The same package can be purchased for one year at Rs 9,000. According to the company, customers will get 720 GB of data and use it at the rate of 60 GB per month. The company has also provided the facility to get a 60 GB pack for 15 days for Rs 400 as an add-on pack in both of them. The same package is also provided by the company under premium which is Rs. 1,200 per month.
The company has stated that a one-month package is available for government institutions at Rs 3,650 and Rs 2,100. To use this service, customers need to purchase a separate device, said Sangeeta Pahadi, a chief commercial officer of the company. He said that the purchased device will use Telecom's SIM and the internet can be used through the broadband signal received from it.
