The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which saw a high increase on Tuesday, decreased today on Wednesday. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 7.16 points to 2,170.18 points.

Today, the sub-index of other groups has increased by 7.75 points, while the sub-index of all other groups has decreased. According to NEPSE, the sub-index of the life insurance group decreased the most by 58.63 points and the sub-index of the hotel and tourism group decreased by 49.71 points.

The banking group decreased by 0.79 points, the development bank group by 22.62 points, the finance group by 36.25 points, the hydropower group by 27.36 points, and the investment group by 0.10 points. Similarly, the production and processing group decreased by 41.90 points, the microfinance group by 16.57 points, the mutual fund group by 0.07 points, the non-life insurance group by 28.54 points, and the business group by 11.50 points.

Today, the investors of Tehrathum Power Company Limited have earned the most at the rate of 3.32 percent per share, while the investors of Adarsh ​​Laguvitta Financial Institution Limited have lost the most at the rate of 5.14 percent per share.

Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company's most shares worth Rs 11 crore 28 lahks 68 thousand 271 were bought and sold. Based on the number of shares traded, 340,566 shares of AP Power Company Limited were traded.
