There will be light to moderate rains with thunder/lightning in many places of the country as it is generally cloudy across the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there will be light to moderate rain in most parts of the country with a general change. Besides, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Province No. 1, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province, the department said.
At present, the low pressure line of monsoon is in the vicinity of Sardar place in the west and it is said that it is located a little north of Sardar place in the east. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in many parts of the country and heavy rain in one or two places in Province No. 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces. The department has requested everyone to exercise necessary vigilance as the water level in Kharekhola may rise and the daily life of the people and even the transport sector may be affected.
During the night, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country, and there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Province No. 1 and Madhes Province.
