Police arrested a man from Itahari Sub-metropolitan-7 on charges of injuring his neighbour, Manuwa Sada (22), severely with a 'khukuri' last night.
The arrested has been identified as Babulal Sada, a 31-year-old resident of Itahari Sub-metropolis-7.
Sada attacked Manuwa with a khukuri during an altercation leading to severe injury. Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Baalgram-based Police Office arrested the accused.
Severely injured Manuwa has been taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
