Suresh Sainju, coordinator of the Harsiddhi Jatra Management Committee, said that preparations are being made to conduct the Jatra from April 11 to April 20. A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Sainju to conduct the procession smoothly. Since 2009, a grand procession has been organized by raising funds from public participation. According to Sainju, the fund will be set up and the procession will be conducted.

In 2009, Rs. 500,000 was spent for organizing the Jatra. It is estimated that Rs. 1.6 million will be spent this time. The Panauti Municipality has provided Rs. 1.5 million for the pilgrimage. A dance will be performed in Harsiddhi Dabli, Panauti Bazaar on April 12 and 13 in a cultural circle. Similarly, the procession will end on April 20 at Harsiddhi Devghar after the pooja.

Other instruments should not be played and chicken meat, eggs and garlic are forbidden. The Harsiddhi Dance is believed to have been started by King Vikramaditya about two thousand years ago. The procession has been following the special tantric method of the moneylenders in Harisiddhi Village of Lalitpur.

Outside the village of Harsiddhi, the pilgrimage takes place only once in 12 years. Surrounded by Namobuddha Bhagwan in the east, Phulchoki Mai in the west, Dhaneshwar Mahadev in the north and Narayansthan in the south, Panauti is a town with a distinct historical, religious, cultural and tourist identity.
