Robbery at Mahottari district on gunpoint

A group of robbers has looted millions at gunpoint in Fulhatta village of Jaleshwor Municipality-9 in Mahottari district this morning.

According to Deputy Superintendent Police Prakash Bista, Mandodaridevi Singh, 70, was sleeping alone in the house of a local Kailash Singh when a group of four armed men broke into the house at around 3:00 am and took their jewelries.

It is said that the robbers stole two nose rings, gold earrings, gold chains and other jewelries worth over Rs 500,000 from his house. The incident took place at 3 am this morning but the neighbors found out about it late and informed the police.

Police are now searching for the robbers.
