The senior leader of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Narayan Kaji Shrestha has directed the leaders and cadres to concentrate their attention on the local-level elections.
Senior leader Shrestha urged the cadres to be united and strengthen party organization in view of the approaching local-level election. He said it at a province-level orientation to the party cadres and leaders.
He stressed the strengthening of party organization, reasoning that the decision for an electoral alliance was not made yet though the central government was running on the coalition. "So, preparations should be made to face the election on our own party strength," he reminded.
Shrestha however said in important places, an electoral alliance could be forged. Ideological viewpoint must be kept intact in the party, he said, adding that only clear policy and course of action could protect the communist movement.
