The parliamentary party of the Nepali Congress (NC) Karnali Province Assembly has nominated Amrita Shahi as the whip. In accordance with the Clause 11(1) of the Party Statute, 2017/18, parliamentary party leader of NC Karnali Province Assembly Jeewan Bahadur Shahi picked Shahi as the whip.
Shahi has been entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining discipline after earlier whip Him Bahadur Shahi was appointed the Minster for Internal Affairs and Law.
