The newly appointed Nepali ambassadors from Nepal government for various countries participated in the tea testing program. They have also expressed their commitment to giving priority to economic diplomacy. The tea tasting program was also conducted in the program organized by the Himalayan Orthodox Tea Producers Association (HATPA) Nepal and Himalayan Tea Producers Cooperative (HIMCOP).
Nepali Ambassador to Bahrain Tirtharaj Wagle, Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari, Ambassador to Egypt Shusil Kumar Lamsal, Nepali Ambassador to Myanmar Harishchandra Ghimire, Ambassador to Denmark Ramswarth Rai, Ambassador to Russia Milanraj Tuladhar, Navraj Subedi, the ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Bharat Kumar Regmi, the ambassador to Austria were present in the program and tasted various teas produced in Nepal.
