The government is going to issue an order to remove the difficulties to extend the tenure of the Commission of Inquiry on Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission until the mid-January 2024.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers today at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers at Singhdarbar took this decision. Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma shared that the cabinet also decided to promote Ghanashyam Upadhyaya to the vacant post of gazetted special class under civil service.
